Nail Free Fix is recommended for sticking of
skirting boards, panels, plinths, mouldings, strips, profiles, railings, frames of doors and windows, sheets, mailboxes, signs, etc... It has very good adhesion on wood, concrete, ceramic, bricks, plaster, stone, steel, aluminium, rigid PVC, glass, polyester, etc... Not suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene and polystyrene.
Adhesion tests on any unknown material are recommended before use.
In order to obtain a perfect adhesion to the substrate, the surfaces have to be free of dust, grease, oil, water, pollutants, rust, etc., and to be dry. For this puropse, use organic solvents (alcohol or MEK), until the complete renoval of all contaminants. Do not use soaps, detergents or water.
Put the nozzle on the cartridge and cut it according to the required joint width. Press the adhesive with the application gun. Apply forming points or laces (2 - 5 mm) and spread the adhesive uniformly through the whole surface. Once applied, join both parts immediately, and keep them in motion in order to avoid the adhesives film formation. Maximum time to apply this product is of 5 minutes, do not exceed this time before joining the parts. It is not necessary to separate both parts to air once joined.
One of both surfaces has to be porous, in order to allow the solvents evaporation. For heavy or stressed surfaces apply mechanical fastening for at least 6 – 12 hours. Do not use under 10 oC.
