AquaBond+

All Pressure Rigid UPVC ADHESIVE

AquaBona+ is a THF-free, solvent-based synthetic adhesive
specifically designed for rigid PVC pipes subject to high operating pressure. Easy application and excellent adhesion. Moderate thixotropy. Meets the requirements of UNE-EN 14814:2007. Approved adhesive (CE marking) for thermoplastic piping systems for pressurized fluids upto PN16, in installations for the transport, disposal, and storage of water not intended for human consumption. Suitable for use in drinking water pipelines.

AquaBond+ plumbing and irigation systems subject to high pressure are also suitable for drainage and stormwater pipes.

The chemical welding provided by AquaBond+ guarantees high resistance of the joints against high pressure and the passage of time.

1. Cut the tube at a right angle.
2. Chamfer the iner and outer edges at a 15° angle.

3. Degrease the contact surfaces with absorbent paper soaked in DISSOLVER PVC.

4. The adhesive must be removed thoroughly before use.

5. Using the built-in brush, apply a regular layer of adhesive to the two parts to be joined, in a longitudinal direction towards the end of the tube, placing a thicker layer at the end.

6.Insert the tubes without turning, holding them still for a few seconds to achieve initial adhesion.

7. Remove excess adhesive. The joined tubes should not be handled for 5 minutes to allow the adhesive to harden.

8. Wait 8 hours for drying and commissioning at pressures below 1.5 atm.

9. Before subjecting pipes to pressures exceeding 1.5 atm, it is recommended to wait 24 hours. It is essential to thoroughly clean the pipe before applying the product. Close the can carefully after use. DISSOLVER PVC should not be used as a diluent.
